[attr="class","lyricbox"]"There's nothing wrong with loving who you are" She said, "'Cause he made you perfect, babe. So hold your head up girl and you'll go far, Listen to me when I say."
Give yourself prudence, and love your friends. Subway kid, rejoice your truth in the religion of the insecure. I must be myself, respect my youth.
Don't be a drag, just be a queen, whether you're broke or evergreen. You're black, white, beige, chola descent, You're Lebanese, you're orient. Whether life's disabilities left you outcast, bullied, or teased. Rejoice and love yourself today 'cause baby you were born this way.
No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life. I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive. No matter black, white or beige, Chola or orient made. I'm on the right track baby, I was born to be brave.
I'm beautiful in my way, 'Cause God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track, baby. I was born this way. Don't hide yourself in regret, Just love yourself and you're set. I'm on the right track, baby. I was born this way

Powers
Power 1: Shapeshifting; Advanced
The ability to change one's appearance at will.
This ability is used to keep him in a male form, and that's usually about it.
Power 2: Clairvoyance; Intermediate
The ability to see and speak with ghosts or spirits.
He really does hate this ability from time to time, but he was sort of forced into it, as his family is terribly strange. Most of the time, he just tries to ignore the spirits if he can.
Power 3: Necromancy; Intermediate
The ability to create undead beings by returning false life to corpses.
Another power forced onto him by his family, he tends to try not to use it, as things like death and the return to life do not really interest him.
Appearance
Sugar likes to make himself taller than he naturally is, coming in around 5'10' when everything is said and done. His hair is usually blue and hot pink, or purple and a lighter pink, and it's usually rather short, but occasionally he likes to have it up in a long ponytail. Sugar has lighter blue eyes, and creamy skin. He's fairly thin, despite the fact that he is almost always seen with something sweet, be it cake, cookies, ice cream, hard candy. Anything and everything sugary, which is probably why he picked the name that he did. He is almost always fairly well dressed, usually in a suit, but sometimes just in a nice button up shirt, and a nice pair of black slacks. He has multiple piercings in both ears, and he wears an assortment of other various accessories, rings, necklaces, that sort of thing.
In his natural, female form, Sugar is rather short, being only around 5'3", and definitely curvy. Her hair is long, but keeps the same color scheme as her male side. She is often seen in lolita like dresses, and almost always has some sort of striped, thigh high stockings on. Occasionally these are coupled with leg warmers and high heels. She usually has some sort of ribbons or bows laced into her hair.
Both forms share the same sort of facial structure, mostly feminine and rather easy on the eyes, among other features. Hair colors, eye color, skin color.

Personality
A bit gentler than his counterpart, Sugar usually tries to keep to himself. He's generally rather complacent, so long as he has something sugary in his mouth at almost all times. Never bother him when he's crashing, as he is the grumpiest person ever, and will probably shoot or stab anyone that gets between him and his sweets. Sugar is actually a fairly decent guy, nice to all the dancers, breaking up fights rather than getting into them. He is a flirt, with basically everyone, but more on the subtle side.
History
Sugar was born one Tabitha Anne Halloway, into a family that practiced things like witchcraft and darker magics. Of course, it had been forced on her for her entire life, and she grew tired of it, wanting to know what else lay outside of the walls of the "dungeon" as she liked to call it. Once Tabitha began to hit puberty, she noticed how horrible it was to be in dresses all the time, being fawned and fussed over all the bloody time, being told how to be a proper lady. But she really liked to go outside and get her hands dirty, took an interest in learning how to repair engines, and all sorts of other boy things that were terribly frowned upon. What made matters worse, when Tabitha turned 14, her shapeshifting ability began to emerge. Of course, she had already cut off all of her hair, and cut up her dresses and bloomers, making boy's clothes. But once she learned that she could change random aspects of herself, she continued to do so, turning into a boy.
She spent a lot of her childhood with her cousin, Trenton, who, like her, despised the gender role he was born into. They had spent many days changing into each other's clothes and wandering around like that, an would often get punished for doing so. Tabitha showed Trenton her ability one day, turning into a boy right in front of him, and he beamed, wanting so badly to do that too. The two went and dug into their family histories, trying to figure out where the shifting power had come from, and sure enough, they shared that common ancestor, making Trenton a very happy little boy. But by the time Trenton turned 16, he still hadn't unlocked any sort of natural powers.
On her 17th birthday, Tabitha was forced to take on family abilities over the dead. She wasn't thrilled about this, but went through with it regardless. Trenton spent less and less time with her, as he hated her for her ability to shift, and now her other abilities as well. Tabitha didn't take well to being abandoned by Trenton, and went straight to the books, trying to find a way to trigger the power to come to him. But it was useless.
Once she turned 18, Tabitha decided to leave home, as there was nothing her parents could to about it. She decided to go to school for a few years, and eventually Trenton found her again. By this point, Tabitha was now Tommy, and she was rather surprised to see that Trenton was now a Tina. The two had a rather wonderful reunion, and Tina told him that the shifting ability kicked in after the death of a family member. It was a strange occurrence for a power to activate through trauma like that, but they were both glad that it did.
Once they turned 21, the two met with someone who was terribly interested in them, and asked if they would like to work for him. Manage a high class gentleman's club in the city. They both agreed, and have been running Bottom's Up ever since.
