Character Rules

Your characters can ONLY be one of the races listed on the race page. Please try to keep your character's personality similar to that of their race. If they have Daemon/Pure Human blood, they will be neutral. If they have Hellion/Furie blood, they will be closer to evil. If they have Seraph/Nephilim blood, they will be closer to good. Their powers are also affected by their race, so please make sure to keep that in mind. If you have made a Pet, they can have any amount of any kind of blood in them.

Please make sure to run your options by Admin;Tsunami.

I know sometimes it can be difficult. But your characters must have a first AND last name. There are a few exceptions to this rule. Example, the projects don't have last names because they were created, not born. Love doesn't have a last name because she changed her identity, and Love is the name everyone knows her by. If you want your character to go without a last name, you need to have a valid reason and it must be approved by Admin;Tsunami. Not being able to think of one is not a good reason, go use google if you're struggling.

At the current moment, there are a few different groups to be loyal to. Your options are Kyrarei, Riku, Luka, Airh'Rhie, and Self. More groups may come to be at a later time.

If you are loyal to Kyrarei, you will be mostly neutral. He is the leader of a mafia. This means that you do whatever Kyrarei tells you to. Basically you work as a dealer of something in the black market, or an assistant to him or any number of groups he serves. You deal mostly in weapons, drugs, organs, poaching, and occasionally people. He has his hand in many many pockets, and basically all of them are illegal.

If you are loyal to Riku, you are more than likely an illegal experiment, or a Pet, as he calls them. Usually your job will have something to do with kidnapping random people to be pets, or carrying out whatever missions he has for you. Please keep in mind that if you are a Pet, you will have been tortured relentlessly and forced to serve him. Riku has grown a bit of a conscience and is not making any new pets. He is currently trying to get out of the business.

If you are loyal to Self, this means you currently have no loyalties and you are free to do whatever the hell you want.

Your loyalties will be subject to change. You are allowed to change them whenever you wish, just make sure that there is a good reason for your change.

You must pick something that is on the list of powers. If there is something that you would like to have, but it's not on the list. Contact Admin;Tsunami about it. If I decide that the power is acceptable, I will add it to the list, and you will be awarded 50 exp and $100 on a character of your choosing. The amount and levels of a characters powers are based mostly on their age. Natural abilities begin to show around puberty, from ages 10-14. Secondary abilities begin to show from ages 17-21. Tertiary abilities show between 27-30. Their levels go up as they age as well. If you need help discerning what powers should be what levels and how many you should have, please ask an admin for help.

There are a few characters that are granted Unique Abilities. A separate list exists for these powers. However, they absolutely MUST be purchased, via the Shop. You may only purchase a Unique Ability once. The only exception to this rule are Canons, or admin pre-approved characters. They are unique for a reason. Unique abilities may have different levels of power than regular abilities. If there is a power that you think should be a Unique Ability, please contact Admin;Tsunami about it. If I like your idea and add it to the list, your Unique Ability will be added to a character of your choosing free of charge.

Ex-/Pet Powers are added onto the powers that already exist on a character. There are base powers that every ex-/pet gets, which are already listed for you in the application, along with a link to a list of pet abilities to choose from. You are limited to one Pet ability, unless pre-approved to have more by an admin.

Other Racial Abilities must be approved by Admin;Tsunami, as they are exceptionally rare.

Make sure to follow the Leveling Guide, and Power Addition Guide. They are there for you to use, to avoid any sort of confusion. If you still have no idea what to do, contact an admin.

From here, everything should be pretty simple. Most of everything you need to know is outlined on the base application for you already. But if there's anything you still need to know or have questions about, please ask an admin.

If for any reason, an admin sees you abusing your power/s, your character will be penalized. This means your character will lose a level, or an ability, or whatever the admin sees fit as a punishment. You will, however, after a short probationary period, be able to repurchase a level or an ability. If you are found abusing a Unique Ability, it will be removed permanently from your character.
