Rhys is almost never seen without a familiar by his side. Usually taking the form of a bird or a dog, these creatures do a good deal of his dirty work from spying to fighting off anyone that means to do him harm, and keeping a lookout when he's busy hacking into whatever he just so happens to be hacking into.

Rhys stands at roughly 172cm (69") and weighs around 68kg (152lb). 
He has short, messy light blond hair, which tends to switch between this colour and a lighter brown, and light brown eyes.
Most of the time he will wear red framed glasses, but if the mood strikes him, he will wear contacts instead.
Rhys wears a black singlet beneath a red trimmed, black hooded jacket, long black pants and black shoes. He also wears black fingerless gloves on occasion, and even less often, a black and white cap.

On the outside, Rhys is a kind and energetic boy, always eager to help. However, he can be quite cruel and spiteful, sadistic even. He finds amusement in causing issues to make people's lives difficult, and takes great pleasure in watching his deeds unfold, and the aftermath they cause.
When it comes to people that Rhys doesn't like, hell ensues, and he will do everything in his power to make their life miserable, and will relish in every moment of it.
Those whom he sees as his friends, however, are a different story, and would more than happily help them out when they need it.

Rhys is a massive computer geek as is almost always found with some form of technology, be it his phone, or one of his many computers, though he doesn't let his geek show as much as he probably could.

Rhys was born in London to a relatively wealthy family. His parents were friends with the Senwood family, so naturally he found himself around the two siblings of the family, Kari and Kao Senwood. 
At the time, Kao didn't interest him that much, though he still enjoyed his company. Kari, however, was another story. She was a hostile ball of built up rage just waiting to burst, so he tended to spend more time around her as opposed to her brother. And it seemed that the younger pyro needed the attention, too.
He maintained this relationship with the two firestarting siblings for a few years. During this time, he had noticed that his favourite pyromaniac has slowly become more hostile to just about everything, and has started to seclude and isolate herself more and more. Kao had told him why Kari was the way she was, and Rhys couldn't exactly blame her. Being completely ignored like that by one's own parents would make anyone angry.
And when he received the news that the Senwood family home had burnt down, Rhys wasn't all that surprised. Though he was quite grief-stricken knowing that both Kari and Kao had burnt to death in the house.

His family moves to Australia three months later, where Rhys finished his highschool education. During the first year at his new Australian highschool, he met a boy by the name of Bailey Milet, who introduced him to the world of hacking. Rhys found that he was quite good at this, and went on to study technology and programming at university alongside Bailey. 
Slowly, his skills in hacking increased, even to the level of being able to hack into a vehicle's computerframe and control it externally via his phone, and being able to erase all evidence of an external interference. Of course, he kept most of his abilities from his friend, lest he out him to the authorities.

Rhys continued to live in Australia for a few months longer before he got word that Kao Senwood was still very much alive and well. Hope sparked within him that maybe Kari was also alive and still setting houseplants on fire for attention.
A month after hearing that Kao was alive, Rhys moved back to London in hopes that he could track down his childhood friend.
