Humanity has always been aware of gifted people. These certain people have something within their genetics that makes them different from everyone else. Somewhere in their history, they have a being that was capable of using magic. This has passed down from generation to generation, giving their families the ability to use magic. Only within the last 150 or so years have the humans actually claim this to be true, and have accepted it as a part of their culture. Before that, these gifted people were hunted down and persecuted, accused of witchcraft, deals with the devil, and all sorts of other things. But humans were weak, and eventually, the overwhelming evidence of real actual magic pushed them into accepting it.
But where there is power, there is corruption...
Our story takes place in modern day London, England. There are a lot more of these truly magical beings around today than there were 150 years ago, and the world has done all that they can to accept this fact, and everything they can to integrate them into society.

Important Goings On
OUT OF CHARACTER! BACK TO 1.5! Yep, that's right. I revamped the entire site, AGAIN, because I am an indecisive bastard that has no idea what I'm doing. So just after the war happened and just as the Rift opened, for those of you that remember those things, however, Pure Daemons are no longer a thing, we have something new planned for the Rift, stay tuned! A lot of information has been re-added to the site, and about a year has passed since the last revamp. Anyways, just make sure to read the information if you haven't been here since last year.

Project Lazare
These projects must be applied for, unless Admin;Tsunami has approached you personally to request you play one. If you wish to apply for one of these project pets, it is a rather simple process. Simply pm Admin;Tsunami with your ideas for the character, the face claim you wish to do, and I will respond to you with a topic for you to write a test response to. I will respond whether or not you're approved to make one.

Names and Numbers
Each project has a Latin number that they are assigned. They will usually be referred to by this as a name of sorts, at least while they are in the lab. As they are played with, they will be given names. You may pick this name previously and stick it in the "Other" section of their bios, or you can wait and pick one with Luka. Luka will eventually give each and every project a name, as he wants them to feel like actual people, so that he doesn't run into the same sort of problem that Riku faced with XVI.
Appearance
Genetically, the projects are made using the DNA of Luka, XVI, and Javelin. Some of them also have a bit of DNA from Saih as well, (this has to be pre-approved by Admin;Tsunami). Like the other line of projects, they are allowed to be any of the available species. Seraph, Nephilim, Daemon, Furie, Hellion, and some have Pure Daemon as well.
The projects all looks around the same sort of way. Black hair and red eyes being the most common. But gold, blue, and brown are also possibilities for eye color. Hair can also be a dark gray or dark violet. Most of them are relatively short, around 5'2" - 5'5". The tallest they may be is 5'7", the shortest they can be is 4'9". All look between the ages of 12 and 17. Somewhere on their body, they have a Roman numeral branded into them, which is something similar to the previous line of projects. This is done prior to their restorative properties are put in, making the brand permanent. Also somewhere on them, usually the side of their head, the back of their neck, or on their chest, there is a seal. But it isn't visible unless Luka is physically touching it.

Personality
Like every other pet, personalities vary. Some are fiercely loyal, and others wonder why the hell they even exist. Some live to serve, others live to cause chaos. Though, every single one of them has complete and utter respect for Luka, and most of them respect Kaiydhin as well. Some may inherit a bit of the psychopath gene from XVI, others are calm and calculated like Luka. Some are curious about the world like Javelin, and others have ambitions and desires of grandeur like Saih. But in the end, the projects are as different as anyone else.
Powers
Being that they're Luka's pets, they get all of his perks. But on top of that, they get an added Pet Ability. Giving them two pet abilities. Most of them have two other abilities as well, on top of the default pet powers. Giving them a total of 4 abilities, with room to grow. The projects powers usually start at intermediate, and occasionally advanced. Some of them may also start with an admin given unique ability.
