Humanity has always been aware of gifted people. These certain people have something within their genetics that makes them different from everyone else. Somewhere in their history, they have a being that was capable of using magic. This has passed down from generation to generation, giving their families the ability to use magic. Only within the last 150 or so years have the humans actually claim this to be true, and have accepted it as a part of their culture. Before that, these gifted people were hunted down and persecuted, accused of witchcraft, deals with the devil, and all sorts of other things. But humans were weak, and eventually, the overwhelming evidence of real actual magic pushed them into accepting it.
But where there is power, there is corruption...
Our story takes place in modern day London, England. There are a lot more of these truly magical beings around today than there were 150 years ago, and the world has done all that they can to accept this fact, and everything they can to integrate them into society.

Important Goings On
OUT OF CHARACTER! BACK TO 1.5! Yep, that's right. I revamped the entire site, AGAIN, because I am an indecisive bastard that has no idea what I'm doing. So just after the war happened and just as the Rift opened, for those of you that remember those things, however, Pure Daemons are no longer a thing, we have something new planned for the Rift, stay tuned! A lot of information has been re-added to the site, and about a year has passed since the last revamp. Anyways, just make sure to read the information if you haven't been here since last year.
IN CHARACTER! THE RIFT This is currently a thing in progress between me and a sister site, but we have something much more in store for the Rift this time around. So stay tuned!

OOC Shop Rules
In order to purchase items, simply reply to the records sheet with the following form. This way we can keep track of your purchases. You may make a records sheet for yourself, or simply reply to the generic sheet made for all members to use.

OOC Items For Sale Member Shop: $75.
You must purchase a slot for your own shop. It is it's own sub-board, in the OOC Mercenaries for Hire section.
Cbox Sticky Message: $500
This is the message that always appears in the cbox. Must purchase a new one for each message. Sticky message will remain for up to two weeks at a time.
Colorsmear Name: $1000
This appears everywhere on the board where your name exists. The price is so high because colorsmear is mostly used for staff and dedicated members. If you purchase this, please provide the hex codes you wish to use. Example: Admin;Tsunami has a smeared name
Beta Slot: $2500.
This is a slot for Beta testing new things that will be implemented in the future. All testing is done on a separate site. Beta testing will be opened once Alpha testing has finished. Beta testing will be done with Alpha members, Beta members, and the admins. You will need to purchase a new Beta Slot for every Beta Test available. Original Beta Slot will be used up once the new things are added to the main site.
Alpha Slot: $3500.
This is a slot for Alpha testing new things that will be implemented in the future. All testing is done on a separate site. Alpha testing will be done between Alpha members and the admins. You will need to purchase a new Alpha Slot for every Alpha Test available. Original Alpha Slot will be used up once the new things are added to the main site.
IC Items For Sale Loyalty Change: $50
By default you get your first Loyalty change for free. But after that it must be purchased.
Face Claim Change: $150.
By default you get your first claim change for free. But after that they must be purchased.
Bonus Mission Slot: $150.
The ability to have one extra Mission per week.
Natural Ability Change: $150.
Changes your character's Natural Ability. However it resets the Ability to Level One.
Ability Swap: $200.
This changes your character's Abilities to place them in a different order. However the Level of the current powers stay with the Slot, not with the Power.
Ability Change: $200, $400, $600, $800.
To change an ability to something different. Secondary Slot, $200, Tertiary Slot $400, Riku Pet Slot $600, Unique Ability Slot, $800. The level of the switched power will not change.
Race Change: $200
You must purchase this in order to change your race. No Exceptions.
Personal Housing: $500.
This is a sub-board placed in some residential area on the boards. This will be your character's home, or place of residence.
Place of Business: $800.
This is a sub-board placed in the business area on the boards. This will be a business owned by your character.
Rift Pass: $1500.
This allows your character to travel in and out of the Rift, to the Daemon Realm. You must purchase this in order to cross through, unless you are accompanied by @amieh or @saih

This skin was thrown together (not completely created) by ADMIN;TSUNAMI, excluding anything else that was not made or coded for this site specifically. Many of the codes and aesthetics, including templates, thread lists, and board mods, are attributed to the lovely people of ADOXOGRAPHYv2, Gangnam Style, Wicked Wonderland, and Slightly Insane. Templates/Posting Tables, including character sheets, are credited to their rightful owners. Images were found on zero-chan or any other picture resource sites, and are credited to their rightful artists. Images may have been photoshopped, by whomever is using them.
As admin, I claim zero credit to pretty much anything outside of the work and time spent editing the skin to make it unique, whatever images I have personally cropped, or templates I have personally made.
