The ability to control shadows

Kaide was born with this power, from the Hellion side of his family. As of current, he is unable to use this power as a weapon. Rather, he uses it to meld into the shadows and hide from those who may be a threat to him.

The abilities that Riku throws into all of his pets. Night Vision, Accelerated Regeneration, Power Detection, Minor Telepathy, Enhanced Reflexes, Senses, and Acrobatics.


Electrokinesis, beginner

The ability to control electricity

This power was forced into him by Riku and he doesn't like to use it often. Rather, he would prefer to play with the small sparks he can produce, jumpstart small electrical devices, or shock people as a defense mechanism. While he does have the ability to damage or kill someone, he will patently refuse to do so unless he has no other option.

Kaide stands at around 158cm and weighs roughly 40.8kg. He has short, messy light brown hair and brown eyes. Due to the experimentation, his eyes can turn red when he is angry or feels threatened, though this has only ever been seen briefly.
Kaide wears a white hooded vest jacket over the top of a light blue T-shirt. He also wears short brown pants and black sandals as well as black wool fingerless gloves.

Kaide can be described as a timid soul who is scared of basically everything that moves due to the horrors he is exposed to at his age. However, he is also very mature for his age and very down to earth. In most situations, he is able to think critically and make decisions based on the currents situation. However, there are times when his fear gets the better of him and he tends to act on that fear alone.

Kaide is very distrustful of most people and gaining his trust is no easy feat. If he decides that someone does not mean him harm, there is alomost nothing that will be able to break that trust. Unless, of course they actually try to harm him. If that is the case, he will go back to being terrified of that person. 

Kaide was born to a human mother and Hellion father. Upon finding out that her son wasn't a normal human, however, his mother left, leaving him alone with his inhuman father.
Kaide's father, Lucius, was a gentle, caring and kind man who never did Kaide any wrong or degrade him due to his half human blood. When his powers started to manifest, Lucius taught him how to control his abilities and manipulate the shadows to his will. Let's just say that they had some epic games of hide and seek. His father taught him to never use his abilities harm someone unless it was absolutely necessary, so Kaide just stuck to hiding himself within the shadows and making shadow puppets.


One day however, Kaide was walking home at night after meeting with a friend when someone had grabbed him. Lucius was going to meet his son halfway when he saw the kidnapping-in-progress. When he attempted to rescue the boy, he was slaughtered right in front of Kaide's eyes. This is a scene that will forever replay in his head.

For months Kaide was subjected to hell in its purest form. His already mixed blood was further mutated and more powers were forced into him through unnatural methods.
Kaide still patently refuses to follow the orders of his superiors, and thus is frequently sent back to the labs to further break down his will. 

- He makes good shadow puppets
- He likes to shoot small sparks off of objects so that they ricochet off it so that he can catch it. This is a favorite pass time of his
- Because of the sheer amount of stressed placed on his body from Riku's experimentation, Kaide is constantly exhausted
