[attr="class","temptabinf"]Akira is a rather strong-willed individual. He is rather stubborn and quite hot-headed. His emotions, as well as the emotions of others, cause him to be almost bipolar in nature, but usually it isn't his complete fault. Akira is extremely loyal, willing to die to protect his friends and the ones he loves. He believes in honesty, but likes to omit details about his own life or feelings, as he believes that no one really wants or cares to know much about him. He can be rather logical at times, usually when his powers aren't running rampant. Akira is one of those people that is determined to do what he believes is right, but he wouldn't go out of his way to hurt or kill someone unless it was absolutely a necessity.

Akira has had his life threatened, been taken over by an evil personality of his own creation, and fought with Riku, who had tried to control and experiment on him, and had done so to his brother. He had fallen in love, twice, and been reunited with the brother he had lost so long ago. He has killed many, saved many more, and all within the past 3 years. All of this dramatic change has made him a different person. Akira is not so naive, not so foolish anymore. And now that he is grown and mature, he is beginning to lose hope that he will ever find out who he truly is, what he is truly good at. He wishes more than anything to find what his life means to him, and to those around him. He almost wishes that he would have stayed locked up in his family's basement instead of dealing with all of this. But of course, that is not how things work.

During the whole well, everything really, he's become slightly cold and hardened to a lot of things. He's not willing to do just anything for anyone, and now that he can tell who wants him dead, he's much less likely to do anything for people he doesn't trust. His trust is even harder to gain now than it was before, and while he's still kind to some people, he's quiet and keeps to himself. He hold grudges like no tomorrow and if you piss him off he will most likely attack you. He's not very good at fighting, but as his powers pretty much grow on the exponential scale, Akira will cause damage to a lot of people, even without knowing it, if they get out of his control.

Because of everything he's been through, Akira is extremely paranoid and overly cautious. He doesn't like taking risks until he has worked through all other angles first. Akira goes through depressive episodes as well, and has very little faith in himself as a person. He believes that everyone would be better off without him around. But he is rather good at pushing his emotions away and putting a charming smile on his face to convince everyone else that he is just fine.

He has a love for strawberries that is almost as much of a guilty pleasure as chocolate is for pmsing ladies. Anything and everything involving a strawberry and he will drop everything to go and eat it. He is also afraid of the dark in such a sense that he will freeze up and huddle himself in fetal position until it goes away. He almost always carries a flashlight with him though, to try and avoid this from happening.

[attr="class","temptabinf2"]Akira is 5'8" tall and weighs 142 pounds or so. His hair is darker brown and kind of frames his face. He keeps it much shorter now than he did before. His eyes are as almost sapphire blue, and always expressing some kind of feeling. His skin is a normal kind of tone, but he tends to be a little darker in the summer and a little lighter in the winter. He wears clothing that he finds comfortable, but usually is in a hoodie. He always is wearing darker colored clothes and maybe a necklace and wristbands. Lately he's been wearing gloves to avoid accidentally touching someone skin to skin. He wears almost skater, or scene, type clothing, but honestly that's just what's comfortable for him. He won't dress up unless he's forced to. At this point he has many scars from his past and previous battles, the most visible being the one on his neck from a previous battle with Riku.

On his person are simple things. A ring from his brother, a locket from Amos, a mini flashlight, and his wallet. He also has sheathes on his belt to hold his daggers.

[attr="class","temptabinf3"]Akira's past is quite the tragic one. Born almost 2 months early, to his father's mistress, she died in childbirth, and his father was left with an infant to care for, from a mistress his wife knew nothing about until that night. He was found to be an utter and complete mistake, but he was allowed to live there, much to his father's wife's protest. He was weak and very insignificant, and was kept in a small nursery until he was 2 years old, to get whatever medical care he needed for his weakened body. After that, Akira was kept in a cage in the basement. His father would keep him locked up again and beat him constantly. The beatings ranged in severity based on the old man's mood.

Akira's older half-brother, Luka, was the only one that would remember to feed him, to bathe him, and to give him someone's shoulder to cry on. He offered comfort and love when the boy couldn't receive it from his parent, or anyone else for that matter. A little later in their lives, just before Luka disappeared, they became similar to lovers, but they hid it from their father, as taboo as it was anyways with them being related.

When Akira was 6 years old he began to hear a voice in his head. Slowly this voice became another personality, Kyou, that hated anything and everything around him. He took all of the punishments that little Akira couldn't endure, all of the beatings, all of the torture, all of the abuse. Kyou learned more and more of the cruelty of living creatures. More and more he hated them, and soon his powers were discovered.

A few months after he had turned 8, he had learned that he could feel and manipulate the emotions, fears, and even pain of other living creatures. This was one of the most important turning points of the young boy's life. Akira had completely given himself to the beast inside of his mind. Luka knew that it was no longer his kind and sweet younger brother, and for the longest time stopped visiting him, letting him revel in his own madness, letting Kyou slowly take over Akira's mind.

One fateful afternoon was the first and last time that this insanity saw the light of day. (until Akira was 15ish anyways)

One of the guards to his basement room had been sent in to feed him, since Luka refused to see him. No one had remembered to shackle him the night before, and he strangled the guard through the bars of the cage, making the man's pain heighten so much that he took his gun and shot himself just to end it. Kyou stole the keys and let himself loose. He followed the emotions of the others, finding it easy to slaughter them with nothing but his powers. But the blood, it covered him, and he laughed, much like a demon would.

When he got to his family, Kyou slaughtered them all. Unfortunately, or fortunately in his father's case, the old man was away on business. Luka's mother, and two siblings were brought down and tortured before Kyou finally finished them off. Luka woke to the screams in the house, and began to seal off an area. Luka then lured Kyou to it, and trapped him, sealing away most of his powers so that he wouldn't be able to harm anyone again. Luka had returned his younger brother's personality, making Akira return to the cruel world that he hadn't had to deal with in a little over 6 months. Kyou would not be able to return until Akira trained himself to master his powers, unless it was to protect him or someone close to him.

Luka gave Akira a ring to wear off of his own finger, which was more just to keep Kyou sealed away. However, unknown to Akira, his brother had a heart condition and died just shortly before Akira's 9th birthday. However, Luka was not really dead, but Akira didn't know that, and to this day still believes that it was somehow his fault.

The beatings became more frequent for quite a few more years as his father grieved the loss of his oldest son, and suddenly one day they stopped. Shortly before he turned 14, Akira was removed from the basement and brought up into the house. He became a regular part of the family. Akira had been named as the next in line for the company's head and suddenly he was forced to appear in large crowds of people. His powers had never been worked on before. He hated every second he spent with his father's arm around his shoulders as he was introduced to the countless people who's names he would forget in a matter of minutes anyways.

Once he turned 14, his father decided to send him to an actual school to get to know some of the skills that one would need in social situations. Akira absolutely hated it, but at least he wasn't getting beaten anymore.

Akira met his friend, and first real love, Amos, in the music room when Amos had tried to kill him because they had such similar powers. The fight between Akira and Amos was pretty much a draw because even though Akira had lost control, Amos had become his friend.

However, Amos had some secrets, which, when Akira discovered them, Akira became a threat to the people that Amos worked for. The truth was, someone had hired Amos to kill Akira, and when he failed to do so and became the boy's lover, it was disaster for both of them. Amos disappeared for a short while not long after, probably to keep Akira safe.

Akira was removed from the school and disguised himself as a boy named Keiji Ryoka, for his own safety. He hated how much he resembled his dead brother, but went to school anyways. He stood up to his father and dropped out for awhile, one reason was to try and find Amos, and the other was so that he could work on improving his control over his power, and soon he began being able to do things he had never known that he could do.

While he was working in the school's library, he found a message from his brother, hidden amongst the books that were in his section, and soon was lead to believe that Luka was still alive, which he was. Amos had taken him to see his brother, because well, Amos had been working for the person who had taken Luka captive in the first place. Luka was a complete mental disaster, as was Akira upon seeing his poor brother's broken body, but Luka was much worse off. Luka had tried to kill Amos, and Akira removed the ring that Luka had given him when he was little to seal his powers away, and almost killed Luka, himself, and Amos.

After that, Akira was once more removed from the school for his own safety, and probably everyone else's. Again he worked on his powers, but he didn't bother with changing his appearance anymore, and finally he went to the headmaster and explained the situation at hand, hoping that just maybe there was a way out of this whole mess.

A Masquerade was held not long after, and Akira was used as bait to lure the group Amos worked for in. Little did he know that they were already planning an attack and they had Luka seal all of the doors shut. Chaos ensued, and Luka had tried to kill his brother, he was under the influence of mind control, but couldn't and wound up stabbing him in the arm instead.

Luka was stripped away from Akira once more as his captor escaped the whole thing, and took his brother, forcing him to do things for him.

During all of these events, Akira had an on again off again sort of relationship with Amos, who treated him rather badly. Akira loved him, but Amos kept abandoning him.

Akira's hatred began growing more and more. He was learning how to fight using hand to hand combat. Along with this, he once more began to hear that voice from his past, even though no one ever told him what had happened, and Kyou returned.

Kyou caused a lot of trouble, killing off threats to his host. He wasn't one to really care who he killed, if they got in his way, they were no more. He spent a few months in search of one specific person. Amos Vang, Akira's own lover. As long as Amos was around, he couldn't emerge. He made a deal with the person that had Luka captive, who found Amos, and brought him into his clutches. Kyou wanted to kill him, but soon, Akira emerged, and Amos swore his love to him, snapping Akira back into the world, and forcing Kyou to disappear for the time being. Together, he and Amos escaped without much harm being done.

Kyou had emerged a few times since, when Amos wasn't around to stop him.

Almost a year passed and Amos had come and gone for the last time. Amos had returned, and they spent a week together, like nothing had ever changed. But by the end of that week, Amos had changed. Akira went into an alley where Amos was supposed to be waiting for him, which he was, but hanging all over someone else. Akira was pained by this, but even more so when Amos said he never wanted to see him again. Amos tried to kill him that night, stabbing him in the chest. Akira lay bleeding, calling out for Amos to come back to him, but he didn't.

Kyrarei pulled Akira out of that alley that night, having been following the boy for awhile after he and Luka had come to him for help fighting Riku. Kyrarei brought Akira to a private hospital and got him fixed right up. Akira spent the next few months looking for his brother.

Akira had finally located Riku, and went to make the bastard pay. He lost complete control over Kyou and his abilities. He almost succeeded in killing Riku off, but Rishe had somehow managed to get his master away from everything. In the end, Kyou wound up decimating the entire city, killing thousands of people in his wake.

Kyrarei had gone to the hospital to collect Luka, but the boy was no longer there. And after the city was destroyed, Kyrarei managed to find Akira and pulled him from the rubble. It took quite awhile for the boy to recover, and he was never told the truth about the city. Kyrarei had gotten the stories and reporters to believe that freak tornadoes had destroyed the town to cover up the truth. When Akira finally awoke, Kyrarei had to tell him that Luka had not been rescued. And for his own safety, Akira was moved from place to place with a woman named Hope.

Luka had found him and met with him one night, having been sent on an errand for his master. He told Akira to leave. To get away from all of this, and to disappear. He had hoped that Akira would listen to him, for his own safety. Luka told him that he loved him, and that this was for his own good. Akira promised he would leave as soon as he knew that Luka was free. They parted ways, Akira returned to his apartment. A few hours later, there was a story on the news on the television. A black haired young adult was found dead, around where they had met. Luka was really dead. Akira lost it, completely destroying his apartment, breaking furniture, glass, the television. Kyou screamed inside of him, and his pain washed through the whole area.

Akira left town shortly after that. He called his father for help, much to his own despair. He had no choice. He was brought back into his father's home for a few weeks. Akira explained everything that had happened, and after awhile, his father bought him an apartment to stay in, and set him up in a new school in London.

Akira was barely 16 when he started at All Hollow's Prep. Amos was still in the back of his mind, as they had never found him. Part of him hoped that he was dead for betraying him so, but he still loved him, and wanted to be near him. But he knew that was no longer possible. Amos was long gone out of his life. And now Akira had a chance to start over.

It had been two years since Luka's supposed death, when a rather unfortunate series of events brought Akira back to his father's home. Akira met back up with Kyrarei, who had a surprise for him, Luka was actually still alive. Luka had formed a trap for Kyou, trying to make him be out of Akira's life for good, however he failed at this, and was put into a coma for a short while. Kyou was a bit more mellowed out, because Luka had control over him, again. Together with Luka and Kyrarei, Akira once again went after Riku.

Akira had spent the next 6 months or so living on and off in Kyrarei's apartment, where Luka lived as well. He had been in a somewhat stable relationship with Michael and Luka both. Shortly after his 18th birthday, Akira's father passed away. On top of that, Akira learned that Amos was indeed still alive, and that Luka was behind Amos's attempt on his life.

Amos became a regular part of Akira's life for quite a while. Even through Luka's betrayal, his attempt at killing Michael and even trying to blame it on someone else. The only problem was that he failed to kill the blonde. Luka ran off to serve Riku again, despite Akira's protests, but still, he had to focus on his own life.

Things were quite good for awhile. Kyou would come and go every now and then and cause chaos in his wake, but it never mattered for long. He eventually got himself a house with Michael and Amos, who decided it would be better for all of them. However, Amos worked nearly constantly at two different jobs, and Michael was often quite busy as well, and Akira grew rather bored and rather lonely over time.

There was quite a lot of hell after that. He had broken his bond with Amos, choosing Michael instead. Though, seeing the pain it caused the both of them, things quickly changed, but the amount of damage that had been was nearly irreversible. Amos ran off in his broken state and wound up being kidnapped. Amos was never really the same after that experience. He was distant, and very untrusting, especially of Michael, who looked similar to his attacker. Not that it was Michael's fault at all. But trauma does weird things to people.

Afterwards, they got themselves a servant to try and keep Akira some company so that he didn't die, as he is notoriously bad at caring for himself. But thing got a little more than friendly when Kyou got involved. However, Kyou chickened out, as per his usual behavior, and left Akira with the most guilt he had ever felt in his life. He knew it had been a mistake, but it was also entirely Kyou's fault. Still, it upset the balance of things in the rocky household as it was. And it caused a rift between himself and Michael. It didn't come to light until after Akira and Kyou were separated.

They had tried for quite some time to make it work, but even so, it was rough. It wasn't long afterwards that the incident with the rift happened, and Akira and Kyou found themselves to be separated from one another. Whether or not this was a miracle is still yet to be determined.
