Power 1: Pyrokinesis, intermediate

The ability to control fire

Unlike Kari, Kao has far more control over the flames he creates and won't accidentally set everything on fire within a ten mile radius. A majority of the time, he used this ability for the sake of self-defence. Only very rarely will he use it to harm, but if someone threatens someone that he cares for, he won't think twice about burning them to cinders.

Power 2: Invisibility, beginner

The ability to turn ones self invisible

Kao developed this power on his 17th Birthday. He can only turn himself invisible for short periods of time, and cannot move while in this state or he will become visible again. After using this ability, however, Kao becomes very exhausted and cannot use it again for long periods of time. In fact, he's been known to actually pass out after using this ability more than what he usually does.

Kao stands at roughly 183cm and weighs about 62kg.
He has short, white hair which covers his right eye. Or rather, the place where an eye should have been. The right side of his face is now ridden with burn scars and his lacking his right eye.  Kao's remaining left eye is crimson red.
He wears a simple V-neck short sleeved black shirt undereneath a black jacket with long black pants and cream colored boots on most days. Otherwise, he'll just ditch his jacket if the weather is too hot. He also wears a key attached to a black chain around his neck. It was once the key to his house before it was burnt down.

On the outside, Kao is a cold, rough and heartless person who lacks any sympathy at all. However, he is actually a gentle giant and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is also known to have rather violent outbursts when pushed too far. This rarely happens, though. Mostly when someone talks poorly of his sister or threatens those close to him.
When he's been pissed off, however, there's no mercy. Anyone that gets in his way is either going to die of will end up in the hospital with at least a few broken bones.

While Kao is on the job, he can appear rather scary. He's mostly quiet and has mastered the death stare. It can also be noted that Kao is terrible with negotiations. It's either his way or no way at all.

Kao grew up with his sister, Kari, in a middle class Hellion family. As the eldest child, Kao was burdened with high expectations and far more attention than what he would have liked. He would have preferred to spend time with his younger sister, however, she had grown to hate him, and would openly tell him so in a multitude of languages.
Due to the pressure placed upon him during his schooling, Kao naturally passed with high grades, while Kari's slowly dropped as the years went by. He had attempted to tutor her, however, he soon found that she knew the material being taught as well as he did, and just chose not to apply herself in classes.

During their early teens, Kao had noticed his sister had set a small houseplant on fire. When he confronted her about this, she had accused him of disliking her flames, and disregarding their beauty. At first, Kao was confused, but later learned that Kari was desperate for the attention of their parents.
Kao had tried multiple times to convince their parents to pay more attention to his younger sister, however, they didn't seem to be interested in the youngest child.

As time went by, Kao witnessed Kari light more and more fires. For the most part, he just ignored them, concluding that it was the girl's coping mechanism. One day however, he found her crouched over a larger than usual flame she had conjured in her bedroom. He confronted and scolded her for this, and in a fit of rage, lost control of the flame. 
Their family home was engulfed in flames in a matter of minutes, and as Kari escaped without looking back, Kao went to search for his parents. 
He found his parents had been burned to death, and he himself was trapped underneath a fallen beam.

Kao later awoke in an unknown room, and found that he had been pulled from the burning house by a man by the name of Damion Hides. Damion took the boy in as his adoptive son, and nursed him back to health, and taught him to better control his powers.
A year later, Kao awoke to find his adoptive father dead, and learnt that he was part of a drug cartel connected to one Kyrarei Riei, and that Damion had been murdered by a rival group.
Kao took over as the head of the drug cartel, and is also searching for his sister, whom he believes is still alive.

- Kao is actually very skilled in the art of hand-to-hand combat and prefers to use that rather than his pyrokinesis
- He hates it when he gets too much attention, or is people start staring at him
- He's a sarcastic prick
- Kao is the one that gave Kari her ash-filled pendant. She never wore it during their childhood
- He is very protective of those whom he cares about and will knock someone out in a second who threatens them, or speaks ill of them
- He cares very deeply for his sister and will do anything to protect her and take her back from Riku (lol good luck)
- Like Kari, Kao is fluent in Korean, and will often insult someone in said langauge
