Tomatsu usually only ever takes the form of a fox when he has to use his shifting abilities. Though he has been known to shift into a wolf on occasions, though this is almost unheard of.

Power 2: Hypnopathy, intermediate

The ability to hypnotize a person, regardless of willpower

Tomatsu doesn't use this power often, as it can be quite physically taxing at times, but if he knows that he needs to use it, and he can't get what he wants without using it, he won't think twice about it. Mostly, he will use his hypnopathy to force others to follow commands they would normally question, or to forcibly drag out information. 

Tomatsu stands at about 174cm (5"9'), and weighs around 67kg.
He has long, dark brown, almost black hair, the bottom half bleached to a golden blonde colour. He has sharp, golden eyes, which seem to stare into your soul, and also scares the shit out of people when he glares, and wears square, black framed glasses. He also has large, pointed golden fox ears, tipped with black, and a long black tipped golden tail.

On most occasions, Tomatsu wears a jacket with a shorter body, trimmed with gold and white. He doesn't wear a shirt beneath his jacket (which he always wears open), revealing the large black dragon tattoo on his torso. He also wears long, black pants and black shoes.

When he has to appear in more formal occasions, he will just keep his normal attire, only switching out his jacket for a thin white button-up dress shirt, and removing the multiple belts attached to his pants. The dragon tattoo can still be seen through the fabric of his shirt, though.

He can occasionally be found with his katana, Kuro no Tatsu, hanging from his waist. Though this is almost never seen.

Tomatsu was born into and grew up around the yakuza, and thus is a very coldhearted man who lacks any sort of mercy. His facial expressions consist of irritated, unamused, annoyed, mildly pissed off, pissed off and very pissed off. And all of these look almost the same.

Despite being the head of the yakuza (or rather, because of this), Tomatsu follows a strict code of honour, and speaks very politely and formally, even to the enemies of the yakuza. 

He is a very patient man, and can tolerate a lot of things, but blatant disrespect and treachery are not among those things, and is a perfect way to piss him off. Once his patience does wear thin, though, he has been known to fly into a rage, and killing those that have upset him without mercy.

Naturally, he is very sensitive to the topic of his brother, Kei Kajiyama, though he doesn't let it show outwardly.

When Tomatsu is speaking to people, he will generally use their Japanese titles (otosama - Father, okasama - mother, otouto - younger brother) and honorifics (mostly -san and -sama). Out of respect (and habit), he addresses people using their family name, and he can get quite annoyed when someone addresses him using his given name. Usually, when Tomatsu uses someone's given name, it's out of disrespect (though this is rarely the case), or that he is familiar enough with that person to use their first name. 

Tomatsu was born in Japan into a yakuza family. As his father was the head of the yakuza, Tomatsu was next in line to take over the Japanese crime syndicate. Growing up around such an environment, Tomatsu grew quite cold and distant, even to his own brother at times, and never really had the chance to be a kid. Though he was brought up around a strict code of honour, even by Japanese standards.

Some time between his late teens and early 20's, his brother, Kei Kajiyama, went missing without word nor warning. His father believed that his younger son had abandoned that yakuza and his own family, and flew into a rage at the thought of his own son betraying his family. This, or course, strained on the man's mental state, and he fell ill, forcing Tomatsu to take the head of the yakuza early as his father was too mentally damaged to lead them himself.
Tomatsu refused to believe that Kei would abandon his family, especially at such a young age, secretly hoping that the boy would one day return. However, as years passed on, he slowly gave up on that hope, and putting his mysterious disappearance down to the boy being dead. After all, these types of thing weren't uncommon in Japan, especially with their lifestyle.

A few years had passed and Tomatsu had forgotten about his supposedly dead brother, until he received word from a contact in London about Kei possibly being alive (along with a blurred photo). At first, he ignored it. After all, it had been five years since his brother's disappearance, and there was more than likely to be one or ten lookalikes in a place such as London. Not to mention that he had to keep the yakuza back home under control, lest they lose their way and do something stupid, and also, he had to be with his father until he met his inevitable end. However, the photo still sat at the back of his mind, gnawing away at his conscience until he finally resolved to go to London and investigate the case himself, and return to Japan as soon as he had seen for himself that the boy in the picture was not his brother.
So, Tomatsu left the yakuza to his second-in-command, Tomohiro, to temporarily move to London.
