Humanity has always been aware of gifted people. These certain people have something within their genetics that makes them different from everyone else. Somewhere in their history, they have a being that was capable of using magic. This has passed down from generation to generation, giving their families the ability to use magic. Only within the last 150 or so years have the humans actually claim this to be true, and have accepted it as a part of their culture. Before that, these gifted people were hunted down and persecuted, accused of witchcraft, deals with the devil, and all sorts of other things. But humans were weak, and eventually, the overwhelming evidence of real actual magic pushed them into accepting it.
But where there is power, there is corruption...
Our story takes place in modern day London, England. There are a lot more of these truly magical beings around today than there were 150 years ago, and the world has done all that they can to accept this fact, and everything they can to integrate them into society.

Important Goings On
OUT OF CHARACTER! BACK TO 1.5! Yep, that's right. I revamped the entire site, AGAIN, because I am an indecisive bastard that has no idea what I'm doing. So just after the war happened and just as the Rift opened, for those of you that remember those things, however, Pure Daemons are no longer a thing, we have something new planned for the Rift, stay tuned! A lot of information has been re-added to the site, and about a year has passed since the last revamp. Anyways, just make sure to read the information if you haven't been here since last year.

Separation Of The Realms
Long long ago,
Hen'Terra became corrupted. Their ways of life no longer prospered, and the Daemons became overwhelmed with their abilities, using them to destroy one another. A decision had to be made, and eventually, the choice came down to five Ethereals. Each had a different realm in their control at the time, but as Raeilin asked for help, they convened. It had been agreed upon that an opening would be torn into the realm, to two other realms. Seraphs would be lent to help out, erasing the world of corruption, and A'Kasha would house them. Raeilin agreed to this, as did the rulers of Vhenna and A'Kasha. One of the remaining two Ethereals was okay with this, offering to lend assistance whenever necessary, and did so by blocking the flow of magic to Hen'Terra. But the fifth Ethereal, decided he wanted nothing to do with the destruction of a world.
As humans began being born, the Daemons began to be hunted down and thrown into A'Kasha, or what humans eventually began to call, "Hell". Daemons were cast down to this realm, their souls twisting and bending to the tortures of the place, eventually turning into Hellions. During this persecution, the Purest Daemons, the ones that practiced their magic with dignity, called for help, not wanting the world to be completely rid of them.
And one Ethereal heard their plea.
Airh'Rhie was against the persecution of the elementals, known as Daemons, from the beginning. He went against the other four, and scooped up the loyal Daemons and swept them away from Raeilin. He made a separate realm for them, giving them a safe haven, and a new place to call home. However, because he had stepped out of line, Raeilin petitioned to have him trapped to his realm for eternity, and the other Ethereals involved agreed.
Airh'Rhie took his punishment with grace, and has been stuck in Ter'Rhan for millennia, building up a proper civilization. Pure Daemons have since repopulated to half of their original population, and Airh'Rhie has built a sort of nobility system to keep them all in order.
Now, a rift has been torn between the realms once more. Airh'Rhie had felt it when it happened, and has sent his two children to investigate.
