Humanity has always been aware of gifted people. These certain people have something within their genetics that makes them different from everyone else. Somewhere in their history, they have a being that was capable of using magic. This has passed down from generation to generation, giving their families the ability to use magic. Only within the last 150 or so years have the humans actually claim this to be true, and have accepted it as a part of their culture. Before that, these gifted people were hunted down and persecuted, accused of witchcraft, deals with the devil, and all sorts of other things. But humans were weak, and eventually, the overwhelming evidence of real actual magic pushed them into accepting it.
But where there is power, there is corruption...
Our story takes place in modern day London, England. There are a lot more of these truly magical beings around today than there were 150 years ago, and the world has done all that they can to accept this fact, and everything they can to integrate them into society.

Important Goings On
OUT OF CHARACTER! BACK TO 1.5! Yep, that's right. I revamped the entire site, AGAIN, because I am an indecisive bastard that has no idea what I'm doing. So just after the war happened and just as the Rift opened, for those of you that remember those things, however, Pure Daemons are no longer a thing, we have something new planned for the Rift, stay tuned! A lot of information has been re-added to the site, and about a year has passed since the last revamp. Anyways, just make sure to read the information if you haven't been here since last year.

Ethereals And The Realms
Ethereals are basically Gods, at least, the Gods in charge of the different realms themselves. They usually stick to whatever realm they are placed in, and are able to create and change anything their hearts desire within those realms. These creatures are, to our knowledge, immortal. They can be wounded, they can fall ill, and they can manage to use too much power to quickly. But there has never been one that has died.

There are hundreds of Realms out there. But for the sake of keeping things short, there are four main realms, for our plot purposes. Each realm is run by a single Ethereal.
Hen'Terra; Ruled by: Raeilin; This is the Human Realm, how it is called by the Ethereals, and most Pure blooded Daemons. Seraphs avoid saying it's name, as they feel this place in unclean.
Ter'Rhan; Ruled by: Airh'Rhie; This is the Daemon Realm, and how it is called by the Ethereals, and most Pure blooded Daemons and Seraphs. Humans remain unaware of this realm.
Mas'Vhenna; Ruled by: Tienna; This is the Seraph Realm, how it is called by the Ethereals. The Seraphs refer to this realm simply as Vhenna, or Vihenna. Humans would liken it to Heaven. Pure Daemons refer to it simply as Mas, or t'Mas.
A'Kasha; Ruled by: Asmodeh; This is the Hellion Realm, how it is called by all but the Humans, who refer to it as "Hell".

Ethereals came about in seven different waves. They're not technically born. It's more like they simply come into existence when they're needed. Below are the different waves and the ethereals that belong within them.
Wave One: Extinct. There are no more Wave One Ethereals left alive.
Wave Two: Tel'Airh'Rhie, Ruler of Ter'Rahn, Traitor.
The rest are extinct.
