Yukia Huzaki

Power 1: “Boon of the Huzaki Clan” - Super Speed - Intermediate.
The hereditary ability of the Huzaki family, passed through the eons from mother to child. Every member of the Huzaki family possesses this power, no matter who they are.


Power 2: Bitter Frost - Cryokinesis - Beginner

Yukia’s appreciation for the cold winters of her home eventually took the form of this ability, allowing her to control ice in any form. In especially cold environments she can even create small ice crystals by freezing the water in the air.

Power 3: Name Unknown - Power Type: Unknown;Power Level: Dormant

Yukia’s unactivated third ability. She hopes it will activate soon, so that she can help her sister take down Ryouji.

Born heterochromatic, meaning she has two differently colored eyes, Yukia has one red and one blue eye. In certain lighting the blue eye looks like a near-teal, much like the eyes of her older sister. Yukia commonly wears a blue robe with black thigh-high socks, a pair of boots in the same shade on her feet and seeming to blend in with her socks. She wears a band much like her older sister does in her hair, but on the right side instead of the left.

Her white hair is tied into two tails on the back of her haid, with strands left in the front to give more shape to her face.

Much like her older sister, before Shira’s disappearance, Yukia is dedicated heart and soul to her training, and was able to see time for little else before her own arrival in london. Since then, she’s grown so that the side she showed Shira during their time growing up is now the side she shows everyone. Kind, sincere, and loving, Yukia makes friends far more easily then her older sister, and is a saving grace to any of those she loves. Stubborn to a fault, she will defend her family’s name and her friends until her dying breath.

Even from those she loves and considers family.

Growing up as the second female child born to the Matriarch of the Huzaki family comes with it’s own set of duties. As Shiranai was training in the Blade Arts so that she could properly hold the mantle of Heiress, Yukia was training in household duties fitting of a female of the house. Between her training to be a lady and still keeping up with her combat training, Yukia was all too happy to have the small breaks where she and her older sister would sit on the rooftop of the Heaven’s Road Temple and talk about how their days had been going.

Always close with her siblings, and very attentive to the moods of those around her, Yukia was the first to suspect Ryouji was plotting something malicious. She took her concerns to her mother, Rika, who listened with all the attention you would expect of a clan leader. While Rika agreed that something was amiss with Ryouji, she confessed that as of that moment there wasn’t any evidence they could put against him. Rika urged Yukia to press on harder in her training, so that in the event something did indeed happen to Shira the younger could take her place.

A few weeks later, and just that happened. News reached the Huzaki family that Shira’s plane had been shot down in transit, delivered to them all by the first-born son of the Matriarch, Ryouji Huzaki. Left reeling and stunned, the clan mourned Shira’s death for the entirety of the following week, at the end of which it was decided that Yukia would indeed take Shira’s place as Heiress to the Huzaki family. Ryouji, furious that his own suggestions had been brushed aside, threatened the young girl with death if she didn’t follow his every command.

Yukia hastily agreed, and played to be the obedient little puppet that Ryouji wanted to her to be for the following two years. When she returned from her first contract, Yukia refused to place it for turn-in, stating that she could simply feel that Shira was still alive. She pleaded with the elders of her clan to allow her to go to London, the location of Shira’s first contract, to try and locate the Lost Heiress of the clan. It took a media spotlight on a mysterious killing, that of the target of Shira’s first contract, for the council to agree.

Yukia had watched the media spotlight closely. Written on the wall in blood had been the words “She Lives.” Surely that meant Shiranai was still alive, somewhere in London? Yukia arrived in the city a week before the Rift appeared, and is mobilizing now to find her sister at any cost, and to bring a stop to her brother’s madness.

-The crest tattooed on her neck is an identifier of her descent. It depicts the tribal image of a six-shooter’s magazine, with twin katana crossing in an X on top of it. The magazine is colored red with a black outline, and the blades of a similar coloration. The letters YH are inscribed at the bottom, her initials, a foolproof way of identification. The tattoo cannot be removed through normal means either, and is made specifically so that it is near impossible to replicate.
